White paint was applied inside the cabinets.

There was a problem with Mom's bed. It was built 4 feet* 7 feet, as designed by the interior designer, whereas the size of the standard twin bed is 3.5 feet * 6.5 feet. I am sorry I failed to check the blueprint before submitting it to the carpenter. It will be difficult to find the mattress and bedsheet to fit this abnormal size.

Wardrobes and cabinets in my bedroom are located next to the bathroom. You have to walk past them in order to go to the bathroom. It looks like a walk-in closet with cabinet doors, to protect the clothes from the dust.

Interior doors are decorated with wood veneer.

The furniture installation was proceeding quite fast. The structures should be ready soon, after which the wood veneer and coloring will be followed.

Duscholux's tempered safety glass shower enclosures were installed in the bathrooms.

My bathroom's is the sliding door type.

Dear's bathroom's is frameless clear-cut swinging door shower enclosure.

Protection papers were laid to prevent the floor from scratching before the intsllation of furnitures.


Workers started to bring in the furniture parts.

The wood floor has been finished twice. It has yet to be finished two more times, after the installation of furnitures are completed.

Since the wood floor in the living room and Mom's bedroom is beech wood and Dear's bedroom's is oak wood, both of which are light in colour, the clear finishes have been applied to keep the natural colour of the wood and allow the beauty of the wood to show through. My bedroom, however, is equiped with the old dark parquet wood flooring so the wood-toned finishes were applied.

The wood floor has been sanded. Next week it will be coloured and finished, after which the furniture will be installed.

The installation of the counter sink in Mom's bathroom has been finished. We have chosen the half-countertop sink so that there are more spaces in this small bathroom.
